Overview

Specialty Account Manager - UPLIZNA, IgG4 - Oklahoma City, OK (Rare Disease) is responsible for representing UPLIZNA to physicians and health care professionals, establishing product sales, and performing total territory account management within a designated geography.

What You Will Do
  • Develops a comprehensive territory business plan aimed at achieving and exceeding annual sales goals established by sales and business unit leadership.
  • Promotes UPLIZNA in accordance with labeling and in a manner consistent with industry guidelines and company policies.
  • Addresses access, pull-through, and reimbursement issues by coordinating with key stakeholders and matrix team members.
  • Builds strong customer relationships by understanding customer needs and communicating them to the team.
  • Meets or exceeds corporate sales goals and communicates territory activity accurately and in a timely manner as directed by management.
  • Drives product demand through education on disease state and product information.
  • Provides feedback to sales and leadership about market changes and results.
  • Adheres to the company’s compliance policies and guidelines (including PhRMA code).
  • Collaborates with patient services and market access teams to achieve business goals and coordinates between accounts and Amgen field teams to support account needs.
  • Educates healthcare professionals and office staff on site-of-care options.
  • Attends medical congresses and society meetings as needed.
  • Manages efforts within assigned promotional and operational budgets; maximizes use of approved resources to achieve territory and account goals.
  • Completes all company training classes and administrative duties in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Contributes as a member of a high-performance team and performs other duties as requested.
Basic Qualifications
  • Doctorate degree with 2 years of collective account management, sales, and commercial experience; or
  • Masters degree with 6 years of collective account management, sales, and commercial experience; or
  • Bachelors degree with 8 years of collective account management, sales, and commercial experience; or
  • Associate degree with 10 years of collective account management, sales, and commercial experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Buy-and-bill experience with documented success and/or biologic/infusion experience.
  • Sales experience in Gastroenterology or rare/specialty disease states.
  • Site of care and reimbursement experience.
  • Experience working with institutions and integrated delivery networks.
  • Pharma account management selling experience; ability to coordinate across field teams.
  • Approximately 80% travel (varies by territory), including some overnight and weekend commitments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; professional, proactive demeanor; strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
