SALES Associate; Okc​/Non-Safety Sensitive

PAY: $15/hr. while in training (2 weeks). After training, the pay will be $15/hr or commission, whichever is greater, for the first 90 days. After the 90 days is up, it will go to straight commission.

Salary has no Cap!!

Schedule: Must be able to work weekends.

Responsibilities of the Sales Associate:

• Promote and sell merchandise displayed on the showroom floor.
• Work directly with internal and external customers.
• Follow up with customer orders and inquiries.
• Assist with any problems associated with merchandise in conjunction with customer service and warehouse operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer needs are met.
• Ask customers questions about products, prices, availability, and product uses to understand their needs better.
• Explain features of products in a manner that customers will understand.
• Prepare sales tickets for orders obtained.
• Assist customers in making product selections based on their specifications.
• Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs.
• Describe merchandise and explain the use, operation, and care of merchandise to customers.
• Stay educated on new products, policies, and advertisements the store is running.
• Utilize excellent customer relations.
• Follow up with customers by email and phone.
• Perform any other duties as directed by management.

Employment Standards: Ability to lift merchandise of 40 lbs to move furniture as part of the selling process; must be able to walk or stand for long periods; must be able to listen and respond to customer needs; ability to communicate effectively with team members; sales experience preferred, not required; positive attitude when working with internal and external customers; knowledge of employment and merchandise handling procedures.

Heavy Work: Lifting up to 40 lbs rarely, and/or up to 10 lbs occasionally to move objects.

Work Environment: Indoor climate-controlled environment.
