Position Summary...

What you’ll do...

• Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics by implementing related action plans and applying the Open Door Policy in business processes and practices.
• Operate forklift following company standards to safely pick up, move, place, and position merchandise pallets.
• Complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and other partners; identify priorities and deadlines; communicate progress; address opportunities for improvement; and adapt to change and feedback.
• Receive, stock, and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers; manage inventory flow; merchandise; handle inventory exceptions; correct shelf capacities; and complete required paperwork and documentation.
• Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, guiding on self-service technology, assisting with purchases, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products and services.
• Maintain facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, adhering to steel standards, and reporting unsafe situations to management.
• Maintain sales floor and merchandising presentation by zoning areas, stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged goods, setting up displays, maintaining modular integrity, receiving/sorting/staging/delivering merchandise, ensuring prominent display of promotions, processing defective merchandise, and monitoring sanitation, food safety, shrink, and security risks.
• Ensure club pickup orders are filled by assisting with picking and staging; ensure products are selected and staged per policy; ensure Merchandising Associates pick orders within an acceptable timeframe; and perform occasional accuracy audits.
• Inventory: handle, move, and display goods safely; track goods and in-stock levels; control shrinkage; report poor inventory practices and low stock; use inventory tools safely.
• Forklift operations: operate and maintain forklifts safely; report poor or unsafe conditions; inform management when forklifts are not functioning properly.
• Technology: proactively assist customers needing help with technology services; model and coach others; identify shrink opportunities and problems with products and work areas and take corrective steps; maintain equipment and organization of stock and promptly fix issues.
