$12.00 per hour

The Kitchen Steward is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment in accordance with health and safety standards. This role ensures dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned, stocked, and available to support efficient food service operations.

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dish room, coolers, and employee cafeteria
• Stock clean dishware, utensils, and kitchen supplies in designated areas
• Sweep, mop, and maintain floors in kitchen and service areas
• Remove trash and recycling and transport to designated disposal areas
• Use proper cleaning chemicals and procedures in accordance with OSHA standards
• Keep cooks and kitchen staff supplied with necessary equipment
• Assist kitchen team with setup and breakdown as needed
• Ensure service elevators and work areas remain clean and organized
• Perform all duties efficiently and in compliance with company policies
• Complete other duties as assigned

Open availability required, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Option 1:
  Wednesday & Thursday 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM;
  Friday & Saturday 4:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Option 2:
  Friday – Tuesday 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

• Previous dishwashing or kitchen support experience preferred but not required
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
• Ability to stand and remain active for up to 8 hours
• Ability to bend, squat, kneel, stoop, and twist regularly
• Comfortable performing physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and organization

• Lift and carry items up to 50 lbs
• Stand and move for extended periods
• Perform repetitive motions including bending, lifting, and reaching
• Work safely around water, chemicals, and kitchen equipment
