Bartender | Basin Bar; Part Time

Come and join our team at this 605-room convention center hotel in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City. Our luxury hotel is located next to the Paycom Center (OKC Thunder), the Oklahoma Convention Center and across the street from the 70-acre Scissortail Park.

Omni Oklahoma City Hotel is seeking a guest-focused part time Bartender to join the opening team of this brand new upscale hotel in the lobby bar. Basin Bar is the perfect place for guests to enjoy a pre-dinner drink or close-out the evening with a selection of local craft beers and expertly crafted cocktails. This team member will be responsible for providing efficient friendly customer service at all times and to maintain a clean, professional top quality bar.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at the Omni Oklahoma City Hotel!

• Mix drinks for servers according to standard recipes.
• Familiarity with the wine list and the stemware and appropriate garnishes used.
• Follow procedures as outlined in the employee manual and bartenders manual. Jigger pour, making drinks for servers only when rung in on Micros.
• Keep bar stocked and clean. Follow sidework sheet.
• Monitor inventory.
• Ensure the consistency in the presentation and recipes of all cocktails.
• Be familiar with and enforce all policies related to liquor liability laws.
• Be familiar with all property amenities and other restaurants.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years bartending experience required.
• Extensive wine knowledge strongly desired.
• One-year restaurant experience required.
• Pleasant personality and the ability to relate and connect with guests required.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• State Alcohol certification and Food Handler certification required.
• Must live within 50 miles of the hotel.
