OKANA Resort & Indoor Waterpark, Oklahoma City, OK.

The Server is responsible for ensuring that restaurant customers have a pleasant dining experience by providing friendly and timely service. They greet arriving guests, explain the menu, take orders, keep guests informed about preparation times, and ensure satisfaction. The Server works closely with bussers, bartenders, and cooks to maintain a positive experience for all guests.

• Complete side work such as preparing garnishes, stocking cold areas, and filling/stocking salt and pepper shakers.
• Display basic knowledge of cocktail and wine service.
• Display knowledge of food preparation and menu items.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Operate computer to record orders, prices, and totals.
• Receive and serve meal orders.
• Report all unsafe conditions immediately.
• Maintain correct accounting procedures.
• Greet and seat guests.
• Attend required meetings.
• Stock areas with linen, glassware, and silverware.
• Complete other duties as assigned, including cross‑training.

• High school diploma required; some college or technical training preferred.
• 1+ years of experience as a server in a full‑service restaurant.
• Strong communication skills in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Food handling certifications (required upon hiring).
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Great customer service attitude to interact with every patron and create a memorable experience.
• Computer proficiency to operate the resort’s POS system.

Base pay: $5.00 (actual compensation based on experience, certifications, and job location).
