Omni Oklahoma City Hotel is seeking a guest‑focused part‑time Bartender to join the opening team of this brand new upscale hotel in the lobby bar. Basin Bar is the perfect place for guests to enjoy a pre‑dinner drink or close‑out the evening with a selection of local craft beers and expertly crafted cocktails. This team member will be responsible for providing efficient, friendly customer service at all times and maintaining a clean, professional top‑quality bar.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at the Omni Oklahoma City Hotel!
Responsibilities- Mix drinks for servers according to standard recipes.
- Familiarity with the wine list, stemware, and appropriate garnishes.
- Follow procedures outlined in the employee manual and bartenders manual. Use Jigger pour and make drinks for servers only when rung in on Micros.
- Keep the bar stocked and clean. Follow the side‑work sheet.
- Monitor inventory.
- Ensure consistency in the presentation and recipes of all cocktails.
- Enforce all policies related to liquor liability laws.
- Be familiar with all property amenities and other restaurants.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years bartending experience required.
- Extensive wine knowledge strongly desired.
- One‑year restaurant experience required.
- Pleasant personality and the ability to relate and connect with guests required.
- Excellent communication skills required.
- State Alcohol certification and Food Handler certification required.
- Must live within 50 miles of the hotel.
