Animal Emergency & Specialty Center of Chattanooga is seeking a Full-Time Overnight Triage Assistant to join our highly skilled Emergency & Specialty team.
This is a Monday-Thursday overnight role (9:00 PM - 7:00 AM) - ideal for candidates who thrive in emergency care, enjoy hands-on learning, and want meaningful impact in every shift.

- Triage and intake of incoming emergency patients
- Gathering patient histories and obtaining vitals
- Safe and effective patient restraint
- Assisting veterinarians and technicians with diagnostics and treatments
- Dispensing medications as directed
- Cleaning, restocking, and maintaining treatment areas
- Providing compassionate, professional client communication
- Demonstrating empathy and emotional intelligence during stressful situations
- Veterinary Assistant or Animal Care experience preferred (not required)
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stay calm and focused in high-pressure situations
- Willingness to learn, grow, and take initiative
- Passion for emergency medicine and saving lives
