Description
This full-time, on-site position is ideal for passionate professionals eager to make a significant impact in the field of veterinary medicine. As a Veterinary Oncologist, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating cancer in animals, providing compassionate care to pets and their owners during challenging times.
In this role, you will work closely with a team of skilled veterinarians and support staff, utilizing advanced techniques and technologies to deliver the best possible outcomes for our patients. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing our clinical capabilities and ensuring the highest standards of veterinary oncology care.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat various forms of cancer in animals
- Develop individualized treatment plans for patients
- Perform surgical procedures as required
- Conduct follow-up evaluations and manage post‑treatment care
- Educate pet owners on treatment options and care protocols
- Collaborate with other veterinary specialists for comprehensive patient management
- Participate in clinical research and stay updated on oncology advancements
- Mentor and train junior veterinary staff in oncology practices
- DVM or equivalent veterinary degree
- Completion of an internship in veterinary medicine
- Board certification or eligibility for certification in veterinary oncology
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
