American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring 1 year of PACU experience and current AHA certifications.

• Position is based in an Adult PACU unit within a hospital setting
• Cares for adult patients recovering from anesthesia after surgical procedures
• Three 12-hour night shifts per week
• No on-call requirements mentioned
• Responsibilities include monitoring post-anesthesia patients, administering medications, and supporting physicians during minor procedures
• Documents patient responses and manages IV and blood products as prescribed
• Collaborates effectively with families and the healthcare team on patient care planning and discharge
• Delegates tasks to appropriate support staff within the team
• A strict 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates within this distance are not eligible
• Returning travelers may only extend once for a total of 26 weeks before a six-month break is required

• Active OK or compact RN license required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
• At least 1 year of PACU experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills necessary
• Some computer skills required
