American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU position requiring at least 1 year of NICU experience in a Level I trauma setting, working night shifts on a 13-week contract.

• Pediatric ICU unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Patient population includes pediatric patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex
• Night shift schedule
• 36 hours per week, working three 12-hour shifts

• Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
• Current BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association required
• Minimum of 1 year of NICU experience in a Level I trauma setting required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency

• Responsibilities include managing an assigned patient group, documenting patient responses, administering medications, monitoring physiological data, and coordinating with physicians and support staff
• Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position — local candidates are not accepted
• After a total of 26 weeks (including any extension), candidates must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible for another contract at this facility
• Compliance requirements are strictly enforced — candidates must be prepared to begin onboarding immediately upon acceptance of an offer
