Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Perioperative Circulator for adult surgery in a Level 1 environment with call and holiday requirements.

Job Details

• Position based in the Adult Surgery department of a hospital setting,

• Operating room role working with adult patients undergoing operative and invasive procedures,

• Schedule is 4 days per week with 10-hour day shifts from 6am to 5pm,

• Call and holiday coverage are required,

• Unit maintains Level 1 acuity standards,

Job Requirements

• Active Oklahoma or compact RN license required,

• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required,

• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required,

• Minimum one year of experience in an acute operating room environment required,

• Strong understanding of AORN Standards necessary,

• Ability to plan, coordinate, and evaluate perioperative nursing care,

Additional Information

• Responsible for planning and delivering nursing care for patients during operative and invasive procedures,

• Direct and indirect provision of professional perioperative nursing care, including ongoing evaluation and documentation,

• Must individualize patient care based on health status, age, and surgical procedure,

• Ability to work effectively as part of a perioperative team is essential,

• No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius of the facility,
