Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring Level I trauma experience and advanced certifications.

Job Details

• Work in a hospital setting on the Labor & Delivery unit,

• Night shifts with three 12-hour shifts per week,

• Cares for laboring mothers and newborns in a Level I trauma environment,

• Assignment duration is 13 weeks,

Job Requirements

• Active Oklahoma RN license or multistate compact RN license (eNLC) required,

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association,

• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certificate required,

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required-Advanced Provider or Instructor level,

• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience with at least 2 years of travel nursing experience,

• Experience in a Level I trauma setting required,

• Associate's degree in Nursing required; BSN or MSN preferred,

Additional Information

• Performs comprehensive assessments and provides care for patients with a wide range of obstetric needs,

• Documents responses to interventions, administers medications, and assists physicians in diagnostic procedures,

• Delegates tasks to support staff and collaborates closely with interdisciplinary teams,

• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility as local candidates are not accepted,

• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required as part of regular scheduling,

• Must be able to communicate effectively with a diverse patient population,
