Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Perioperative Circulator for a surgery center position requiring an Oklahoma or compact RN license and acute operating room experience.

Job Details

• Work in an ambulatory surgery center focusing on perioperative nursing,

• Patient population includes individuals undergoing operative and invasive procedures, with an emphasis on ophthalmology cases,

• Day shifts are 6:30am to 5:00pm, four days per week,

• No call, weekend, or holiday shifts required,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in Oklahoma or a current compact RN license (eNLC) is required,

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association,

• Minimum of one year experience in an acute operating room environment,

• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required,

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher from a board-approved program preferred,

• Proficiency in AORN standards and operating room best practices,

• 50 mile radius rule in effect; local candidates will not be considered,

• Ophthalmology experience is preferred,

Additional Information

• Responsible for planning, coordinating, delivering, and evaluating nursing care for perioperative patients,

• Utilize the nursing process for ongoing evaluation and documentation of care,

• Individualize care based on patient health status, age, and surgical procedure,

• Strong teamwork and communication skills expected,

• No first-time travelers or local candidates due to facility policy,

• Scrub attire requirements to follow surgery center standards,
