Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Perioperative Circulator role in Adult Surgery, requiring Level 1 trauma and night shift experience.

Job Details

• Work in the Adult Surgery department of a hospital setting,

• Perioperative Circulator position focused on adult patients undergoing surgical or other invasive procedures,

• Night shifts:
Saturday, Sunday, and Monday,

• Position requires call and holiday coverage,

• Level 1 trauma experience for 6+ months is required,

Job Requirements

• Active OK or multistate compact RN license required,

• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required,

• Minimum of one year experience in an acute operating room environment required,

• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required,

• Excellent understanding of AORN Standards is necessary,

• Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical skills are required,

Additional Information

• Responsible for planning, coordinating, delivering, and evaluating nursing care during operative and invasive procedures,

• Accountable for individualized patient care based on health status, age, and type of surgery or procedure,

• Role requires ongoing evaluation and documentation of patient care within the perioperative environment,

• No local candidates accepted; must reside outside a 50-mile radius,

• Holiday and call coverage are part of job expectations,
