Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Surgical/Transplant unit, requiring MS and SD experience along with an active OK or compact RN license.

Job Details

• Work in the Surgical/Transplant unit of a hospital setting,

• Care for a variety of patient populations with both simple and complex health problems,

• Requires experience with medical-surgical (MS) and stepdown (SD) units,

• Day shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week,

Job Requirements

• Active OK RN license or current multistate compact RN license (eNLC),

• Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience,

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association,

• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program,

• Travel nursing experience and Level 1 trauma experience required,

• Charge experience preferred,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring patients, assisting in examinations, and providing education to patients and families,

• Delegates tasks to support staff and coordinates care planning,

• Team-oriented work environment with support from other nursing staff,

• 50 mile radius rule applies-local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered,

• After an assignment of up to 26 weeks, a 6-month separation is required before reapplying,

• Adheres to hospital policies and maintains effective communication with staff and families,
