Travel RN - Pediatrics

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a pediatric float pool position requiring compact or Oklahoma RN licensure, BLS, and PALS certification.

Job Details

• Float pool position within a hospital setting,

• Pediatric patient population with varying acuity from simple to complex cases,

• Night shifts with weekend and holiday requirements,

• 12-hour shifts, three days per week,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in Oklahoma or current compact (eNLC) RN license,

• Current BLS and PALS certification from the American Heart Association,

• At least 1 year of pediatric RN experience,

• Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited program is required; BSN preferred,

• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility (no locals),

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care for an assigned group of pediatric patients throughout the hospital,

• Document patient responses, administer medications, and monitor physiological data,

• Assist with minor diagnostic procedures and treatments,

• Collaborate and communicate care plans with patients and their families,

• Delegate appropriate tasks to support staff,

• Holiday and weekend coverage required as per unit needs,

• A 6-month separation is required before returning if previously employed or contracted after 26 weeks,
