Travel RN - Neonatal ICU

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Neonatal ICU (NICU) position requiring Level IV NICU experience, NRP certification, and the ability to float throughout the children's service line.

Job Details

• Position is based in a hospital Neonatal ICU (NICU) department,

• Level IV NICU setting requiring experience in high-acuity neonatal care,

• Day shift schedule: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hrs/week),

• Floating is required throughout all children's units,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (Oklahoma state or Compact) required,

• Minimum 1 year of NICU nursing experience required,

• Level I Trauma hospital setting and Level IV NICU experience required,

• Current BLS and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required,

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred,

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assuming care for an assigned group of neonatal patients, monitoring physiological data, administering medications, managing IV infusions and blood products, and communicating care plans with patients and families,

• Delegates tasks to support staff as appropriate,

• Workers who have previously completed a contract at this facility must have a 6-month separation before being eligible to return,

• Compliance requirements (drug screen, background check, medical documentation) must be initiated immediately upon offer acceptance - start dates will not be adjusted for non-compliance,

• BSN is preferred but not required,
