Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU night shift position requiring an OK or compact RN license and at least one year of NICU experience.
Responsibilities- Work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in a hospital setting
- Care for critically ill neonates and premature infants
- Night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
- 13-week contract assignment
- Responsible for comprehensive nursing care and documentation for assigned neonatal patients
- Administers medications, IV infusions, and monitors patient responses
- Collaborates with physicians and healthcare team for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Engages with patient families regarding care plans and discharge education
- Delegates tasks to support staff as appropriate
- 50-mile radius rule applies; no local candidates accepted
- Holiday coverage may be required
- Current Oklahoma RN or valid multistate compact RN license
- Minimum one year of NICU nursing experience required
- Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
- Active BLS and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association required
- BSN preferred
