We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist specializing in Anesthesiology for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Oklahoma. This full-time opportunity begins on Apr 27, 2026, and features day shifts with flexible scheduling, including options for 4x10, 5x10, or four to five 12-hour shifts per week. Candidates available for three 40- or 50-hour weeks per month will also be considered.
The role requires delivering safe, high-quality anesthesia care and supporting anesthesia residents and students in a dynamic hospital setting.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards and clinical privileges
- Administer safe, age-appropriate anesthesia for surgeries and medical procedures
- Monitor patients during anesthesia and throughout perioperative periods
- Conduct and document pre- and post-anesthetic evaluations
- Obtain informed consent for anesthesia
- Oversee induction, maintenance, emergence, and post-anesthesia care
- Consult on airway management and participate in codes as directed by supervising anesthesiologist
- Support and assist residents and medical students on anesthesia rotations
- Report to and coordinate with nurse manager/director/clinical leader
- Foster a learning environment for patients, families, nurses, and healthcare team members
- Ensure patient safety and integrate evidence-based practices into nursing care
- Engage in ongoing professional development and leadership activities
Additional Information
- Graduate of a nurse anesthesia program accredited by the AANA Council of Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs required
- Active licensure in Oklahoma
- Board certification in Anesthesiology required
- Current BLS (AHA), ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
