Charge Registered Nurse (RN) – 13‑Week Assignment – Nights $60/hr. – Oklahoma City LTACH
We are seeking a dedicated Charge Registered Nurse for a 13‑week assignment at PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Oklahoma City, covering night shift hours. The role offers $60 per hour with additional benefits available.
Responsibilities include:
- Utilize the nursing process while delivering, directing, and supervising patient care for unit admissions.
- Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care, including interdisciplinary and discharge planning.
- Teach patients and families about post‑hospitalization care.
- Access community resources to support ongoing patient needs.
- Perform charge nursing duties; ACLS certification is required.
Qualifications:
- RN license in the state of application.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred initially and required after 90 days). Day 1 ACLS required for Charge Nurses, High‑Observation and ICU roles.
Experience:
- One year of inpatient medical‑surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
Preferred but not required:
- Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments.
- Comfort working with ventilators, tracheostomies, PICC lines, and similar interventions.
- Two years of direct patient‑care experience.
