Position: CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) 3pm to 11pm Rotating Shift

, you will work an 8-hour shift, providing residents with personal care, assisting the charge nurse, and delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care to residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort, consistent with community policy.
  • Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for residents.
  • Advise supervising charge nurse of resident’s status at the beginning and end of shift.
  • Contribute knowledge of resident’s conditions/needs to resident care plans.
  • Assist in the implementation of care plans as directed within the parameters of established policy and procedure.
  • Observe and report on residents’ conditions, and document observations as required.
  • Comply with requirements of procedures for safe lifting and/or safe transfer of residents per established policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to perform moderate to heavy lifting.
  • Ensure that equipment is clean and functional.
  • Perform incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks as needed to maintain a clean, hazard-free environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • State certification as a nursing assistant in the state of practice
  • Complete familiarity with the duties of a certified nursing assistant
  • Highly developed observation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Shift: 4 on 2 off rotating schedule
