About the Opportunity

Join OU Healths Anesthesia team and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative, academic environment. As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), youll play a vital role in providing safe, compassionate anesthesia care for patients across a wide range of surgical and medical procedures.

You will work alongside anesthesiologists, residents, and multidisciplinary care teams within Oklahomas leading academic health system where education, innovation, and excellence are part of every case.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer safe, high-quality anesthesia using established clinical guidelines and privileges approved by the Department of Anesthesiology.

  • Conduct and document pre- and post-anesthetic evaluations, obtain informed consent, and manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.

  • Provide airway management consultation and participate in emergency response (code) situations as directed by supervising anesthesiologists.

  • Collaborate with residents and medical students, offering mentorship and clinical support during anesthesia rotations.

  • Promote a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Education Program (AANA Council of Accreditation).

  • Current RN and APRN license in the State of Oklahoma with prescriptive authority.

  • NBCRNA certification required.

  • BLS, ACLS, and/or PALS (AHA) certifications required.

  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call, weekends, and holidays.
