• Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex
• Must have travel experience and step down/PCU experience
• Must have Level 1 experience and acute care surgical floor experience
• ENT and/or Transplant experience preferred
• Work on 4W Surgical Transplant - a mixed stepdown and acute care floor
• Care for post-surgical kidney, liver and pancreas transplant patients
• Provide care for pre-transplant patients being evaluated during inpatient stay
• Monitor patients closely for infection, rejection, and ensure timely medication delivery
• This is NOT a PACU position
• Assume responsibility for assigned group of patients
• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and medical treatments
• Assist physicians in examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
• Obtain and monitor physiological data and intervene when necessary
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor IV infusions and blood products
• Interact with families and patients regarding care plans and discharge planning
• Delegate tasks to support staff as appropriate

• Required:
  
  Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program

  Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License (eNLC)
• Required:
  
  Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
