Anesthesiology - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Opportunity Highlights

Schedule:

Full-time candidates only, approved shifts are days 4 x 10s, 5 x 10s, or four to five 12 hour shifts weekly. Will accept candidates with three 40 or 50 hour week availability per month
Job Setting:  OU Medical Center
Types of Cases:  Administration of anesthesia and monitoring patients during surgeries and other medical procedures. Provides and documents pre and post anesthetic evaluations. Obtains informed consent for anesthesia. Provides induction, maintenance, emergence and post anesthesia care. Consultation on airway management, participation in codes at the direction of a supervising anesthesiologist
Credentialing:  Facility Credentialing Managed by Client

Minimum Requirements    Board Certified/Board Eligible:

Certifications:

PALS and/or ACLS certified. Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association (AHA). NBCRNA certification
Licensure:  Active RN and APRN license in State of Oklahoma with prescriptive authority. Graduate of a nurse anesthesia education program, accredited by the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology (AANA) Council of Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs. Successfully passed the national certifying examination within one year of completion of required didactic and clinical requirements
