The Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner (EMNP) role is a critical part of the fast-paced emergency healthcare team, combining advanced clinical skills with compassionate patient care.
Responsibilities- Performing comprehensive assessments and diagnosing acute conditions
- Developing treatment plans and prescribing medications
- Executing advanced procedures and responding to emergencies
- Collaborating with healthcare teams and educating patients
- Managing follow-up care and maintaining accurate records
- Board-certified Nurse Practitioner with a Master's or Doctorate in Nursing
- Valid NP license, with experience in emergency or critical care
- Certifications such as ACLS, PALS, ENP, and BLS
- Strong decision-making, communication, and teamwork skills
- Proficiency with emergency equipment and managing complex cases
Job details include a contract position, $80/hour pay, night shift availability, and in-person work. Experience in emergency hospitals and Oklahoma NP licensure are required.
