This full-time, on-site Registered Nurse position at OU Health Stephenson Cancer Center in Oklahoma City, OK involves providing compassionate, patient-centered care. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient treatment, administer medications and treatments, coordinate interdisciplinary care, educate patients and families, and adhere to evidence-based nursing practices. The role also includes assistance in clinical trials and maintaining accurate, confidential patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency in patient assessment, treatment planning, and care coordination
- Skilled in intravenous (IV) therapy, medication administration, and monitoring patient responses
- Strong communication skills to educate patients and collaborate with healthcare teams
- Attention to detail with experience in accurate documentation and regulatory compliance
- Knowledge of clinical trial protocols and participation is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Proficiency with healthcare-related technologies and electronic medical records (EMR)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
