Cross Country Search is representing a well‑established hospital system in the Oklahoma City area seeking Registered Nurses to join a Medicine Specialty Step‑Down unit on a part‑time, day‑shift basis. This 31‑bed step‑down unit supports patients requiring close monitoring and advanced nursing care. Nurses manage complex medical conditions and multiple IV drips in a collaborative, team‑based environment designed to strengthen critical‑thinking and clinical decision‑making skills.

• Provide direct nursing care to high‑acuity medical step‑down patients
• Monitor patient status and respond to clinical changes
• Administer medications, IV infusions, blood products, and specialty drips
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge needs
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation

• 31‑bed medicine specialty step‑down unit
• Exposure to insulin, heparin, ketamine, and cardiac drips
• Patient populations include renal failure, liver disease, sepsis, respiratory failure, diabetes, and other complex conditions
• Collaborative, team‑based care model

• RN 1: 0‑3 years of RN experience
• RN 2: 3‑5 years of RN experience
• RN 3: 5+ years of RN experience (specialty certification preferred)

• Active Oklahoma or Compact RN license
• BLS certification required
• ASN or BSN required (BSN required for RN 3; MSN preferred)
• Acute‑care or step‑down experience preferred

• Permanent, direct‑hire hospital role
• Specialty‑unit pay aligned to market data
• Part‑time day schedule (7:00 AM − 7:00 PM)
