Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a dedicated RN for a Neonatal ICU position requiring at least one year of experience and current BLS and NRP certifications.

• Position is in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of a hospital
• Patient population consists of newborns requiring specialized neonatal intensive care
• Night shifts from 7pm to 7am, working three 12-hour shifts per week
• Primary duties include providing nursing care to neonatal patients with a range of health conditions, administering medications, monitoring physiological data, and assisting with diagnostic procedures
• Role involves coordination with physicians and other healthcare professionals and delegating tasks to support staff
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility to be eligible
• Scrub color or uniform requirements are not specified

• Active Oklahoma or compact RN license
• Minimum of one year of RN experience
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
• Current BLS and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association
• Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs
