Licensed Practical Nurse; LPN

Overview

Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) position with Aspen Medical. Opportunity to partner with us in providing quality medical care to patients within a transitional setting. LPNs/LVNs, alongside fellow team members, will be entrusted to ensure that competent care and safety are consistently delivered with compassion.

• Medical Screening (New Arrivals)
• Comprehensive Screening
• Sick Call
• 24-Hour Emergency Medical and Mental Health Treatment
• Women’s Medical Care

The medical teams operate within a secure medical facility. Aspen Medical provides additional EMS, diagnostic and laboratory, and other ancillary services. All clinic service delivery is conducted in accordance with US clinical standards and compliance measures.

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (community/junior college, college, university or vocational nursing program) approved by the appropriate State agency and accredited by the Commission on Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA) or equivalent.
• State Board of Nursing approved LPN/LVN training program completion and certification.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted licensure as a practical or vocational nurse.
• Minimum one year of current experience in Med/Surg, Long Term Care, Psychiatric Mental Health, or Primary Care (must have worked within the last six months).
• Current, valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Spanish language proficiency is highly desirable.
• Citizenship/Work Eligibility:
  All Aspen Medical staff must be U.S. citizens or Green Card holders. Sponsorship will not be available.
