Job Details:

• Provide nursing care under general supervision for patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex

• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients

• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments

• Assist physicians in examination of patients and minor diagnostic procedures

• Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients and intervene when necessary

• Administer medications as prescribed and manage intravenous infusions and blood products

• Interact with families and patients regarding care plans and discharge information

• Delegate tasks to support staff and make appropriate referrals for patient care needs

• Maintain good working relationships with other employees

• Respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors

• 1 year of nursing experience required

• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred

• Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License (eNLC) required

• Current Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association required

• Computer skills and strong verbal and written communication abilities necessary
