Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Labor & Delivery position requiring current BLS, ACLS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, and NRP certifications.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
- Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
- Provides care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and recovery
- Deliver nursing care for patients with health conditions ranging from uncomplicated deliveries to complex cases
- Assist physicians with exams, minor diagnostic procedures, and treatments in the Labor & Delivery setting
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team
- Orient to department responsibilities and protocols upon hire
- No local candidates will be considered due to radius restrictions
- Active Oklahoma RN license or multistate compact RN license (eNLC) required
- Minimum of one year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS (from AHA only), Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, and NRP (Advance Provider or Instructor level)
- Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited school required; BSN or MSN preferred
- Must reside outside a 50 mile radius from the facility
