Bilingual Licensed Practical Nurse – Day One Medical Benefits
To support plasma center operations, you will work under the guidance of the Center Manager and Center Physician to provide medical support in a fast‑paced, friendly environment.
How You Will Contribute- Determine donor eligibility, manage informed consent, perform medical history interviews, physical examinations, blood testing and review serology results.
- Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies, including donor transport to emergency care.
- Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unacceptable findings or medical issues.
- Support Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees.
- Manage employee incidents and evaluate further occupational health needs.
- Serve as pandemic coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations related to pandemic threats.
- High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from a recognized nursing program with state requirements.
- Licensed in the state where responsibilities will be assigned (LPN or LVN).
- Current CPR and AED certification.
- Completion of FDA approved training for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
- Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.
