RN - Ortho​/Spine Nights

Overview

RN – Ortho/Spine Full‑Time Nights lizes the nursing process to provide patient care, evaluates overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers, coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and performs duties consistent with Mercy’s mission, values, and Service Standards.

• Apply the nursing process to deliver comprehensive care to post‑operative spine patients.
• Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams and other departments.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Perform duties in alignment with Mercy’s mission, values, and Service Standards.

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Current RN license in the hiring state (or compact licensure) maintained throughout employment.
• Physical ability to push, pull, & lift 50 pounds on a regular basis; prolonged standing & walking each shift; ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, & squat.
• Certifications:
  
  ACLS, BLS (within 30 days of hire); other unit‑specific certifications as required.
