Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position with evening shifts and at least 1 year of recent OR experience.

• Position based in a hospital OR Complex
• Evening shift schedule from 1:00 pm to 1:00 am
• 13-week travel contract assignment
• Blocked scheduling may be available based on facility needs
• Handles a variety of surgical cases in the operating room
• Up to 5 days of requested time off permitted if made up during the assignment
• Local candidates within 50 miles may be offered a different contract structure and must follow specific contract duration policies
• After three consecutive 13-week local contracts, a 1-year separation from the facility is required before returning, or transition to another facility outside of 50 miles
• Full compliance file must be completed prior to start
• Responsibilities include circulating and providing perioperative nursing care in the operating room

• Active OK or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current certifications with no expiration within the first 30 days of assignment, unless renewal is scheduled and documented
• At least 1 year of recent experience in the operating room specialty required
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required (Canadian SINs not accepted)
• No gaps in work history of 90 or more days within the past 12 months
