As a Surgical Registered Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to patients throughout their surgical procedures. You will ensure that everything in the OR runs smoothly, from preparation to post‑operative care, while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and comfort.

• Assist in the preparation and care of patients during the peri‑operative period.
• Set up the OR using surgeon preference cards and ensure all necessary supplies are available.
• Verify patient identity, procedure, and surgical site before transport to the OR.
• Support anesthesia providers before, during, and after procedures.
• Maintain scrupulous infection control standards and adhere to hospital policies.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the surgical team.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure proper operation of OR equipment.

• Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to multi‑task and adapt to different assignments.
• Commitment to patient safety and infection control standards.
• Team‑oriented mindset – collaborate with a multidisciplinary surgical team.

• Current Oklahoma RN license.
• BCLS required; ACLS required for conscious sedation; PALS preferred.
• Completion of conscious sedation test.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks as required in the OR.
