Our Blood Institute is actively seeking qualified candidates for a rewarding position that is responsible for successfully manufacturing blood and blood components.

Considered applicants must have a high school diploma, transcript, or GED. A successful candidate must be on-time, reliable, good communicator, detail oriented, and work well with others. This position requires reliable transportation, working telephone, standing for long periods of time, and ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.

$15.00-$18.00 based on education and/or experience with shift differential

Thursday through Monday

10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. (NIGHTS)

To successfully manufacture blood and blood component.

• High school diploma or GED required
• Good communication skills and professional demeanor
• Problem solving ability
• Ability to work well with people
• Computer skills preferred
• Some moderate lifting required

• Manufacture blood and blood components
• Prepare blood and blood components for labeling
• Label blood and blood components
• Triage whole blood according to inventory needs
• Manufacture apheresis red blood cells
• Perform maintenance of equipment as appropriate
• Maintain cleanliness of the manufacturing lab
• BPS and Reference Lab orders
• Take SOPs as appropriate
