  Terminal Operator I
• Reports to:
  
  Terminal Manager
• Shift: M‑F 5:00 am – 1:00 pm
• Pay: $18‑$20/hour

• Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
• Gain full understanding and demonstrate adherence to the safety program.
• Load trucks as per the daily schedule utilizing the onsite systems.
• Unload product as per the daily schedule utilizing the onsite systems.
• Operate on‑site mobile equipment and receive training.
• Handle inquiries and orders for customers and sales personnel.
• Maintain shipping logs, prepare bills of lading, and calculate split‑load tonnages based on a customer’s instructions.
• Work with company apps for site emails, safety incident reporting, completing training and other programs.
• Maintain supply point and 5S standards.
• Assist with basic maintenance of equipment on site.
• Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

• High school graduation or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read, write and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc. Willingness to learn; training will be provided.
• Receive basic site safety training including First Aid and all applicable LSR Training.
• Receive OSHA (IHSA) 10‑hour certification.

What to expect in a cement environment:
Work to be performed in a shop environment as well as outdoor exposure throughout the plant. Mild exposure to cement dust, heat, cold, and noise requires compliance with specified safety guidelines and procedures. Exposure to high elevations of up to 250 feet in height, all weather conditions, and normal operation of mobile equipment may result in jarring and vibratory exposure.
