Fabrication Tech Class B; ED

Scope of Work:

Assist in mechanical assembly of industrial engines, coolers, generators and related components including alignment of equipment to meet WPI packaging standards. Run screwed piping for equipment utilities, install safety shut-downs, guards/shields as required. Training with Class A, Journeyman, etc. in above described duties.

• Assist overhauling various compressor frames and cylinders
• Assist in setting and aligning coolers, install vessels, run screwed piping for engine utilities
• Install safety shutdowns, assist in aligning engine to compressor
• Follow daily instructions from Leaderman, Journeyman & Class A
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Must have 2 year(s) previous experience
• Must High School Diploma or equivalent
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted

• Must have the ability to effectively operate a fork lift
• Must have the ability to effectively operate overhead cranes
