We are seeking a senior Head of Manufacturing Science & Technology (MSAT / MST) to lead and scale a critical MSAT function within a growing biopharmaceutical manufacturing organization.
This role is strictly focused on Drug Substance MSAT, supporting commercial manufacturing, process robustness, and technology transfer for peptides, GLP-1 products, and mammalian cell culture (including perfusion).
This is a hands-on MSAT leadership role embedded in manufacturing operations.
It is not a Drug Product, fill-finish, vaccines, or CMC governance role.

Key Responsibilities- Define and execute the MSAT strategy aligned with manufacturing and business objectives
- Provide technical MSAT leadership supporting commercial Drug Substance manufacturing
- Lead process troubleshooting, optimization, and scale-up activities
- Drive technology transfer from development into GMP manufacturing
- Serve as technical authority for:
Mammalian cell culture, Perfusion processes, Peptides manufacturing, GLP-1 products - Ensure GMP compliance and support regulatory inspections and audits
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing MSAT team

Required Qualifications- Master’s or PhD in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline
- 10+ years of experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing with deep MSAT ownership
- Hands-on Drug Substance MSAT experience
- Proven leadership supporting commercial manufacturing and tech transfer
- Strong troubleshooting mindset and comfort operating close to the plant floor
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)

- Familiarity with U.S. FDA and EU GMP expectations

It is not focused on Drug Product, fill-finish, vaccines, or CMC-only strategy roles.
