AMO Technician (Drilling Services) - Oklahoma City, OK

Location:

Oklahoma City, OK

Compensation: $22.00-$30.00 per hour

About the role:

As an AMO Technician you will work in a thriving workshop environment overseeing the delivery of solutions to our North America customer base. You will take responsibility for disassembly and assembly of Drilling Motors ensuring quality and safety throughout the process.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble, and perform inspections of Drilling Motors
  • Assist in reworking, repairing, and modifying non-conforming equipment
  • Identify and communicate technical problems using logical troubleshooting techniques
  • Provide coaching to other technicians
  • Compliance with HS&E policies and procedures

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1+ year of electrical or electronics experience or related field
  • Experience using mechanical measuring and gauging equipment
  • Hands‑on experience installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing mechanical and/or electromechanical parts
  • Ability to obtain a passport within 90 days and travel international and domestic 5% of the time
  • Ability to work on‑call and weekends

Preferred but not required Characteristics:

  • Oilfield experience
  • Computer experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • SAP experience
  • Performing functional testing on assemblies
  • Some mechanical experience
