$15.00 per hour

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the overall condition, safety, and functionality of the hotel. This role ensures all building systems and equipment operate efficiently while supporting a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests and team members. Warm, knowledgeable service and attention to detail help reassure guests they’ve made the right choice to stay with us.

• Maintain hotel equipment and systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, kitchen, laundry, pool, and life safety systems
• Respond to and complete maintenance work orders promptly and professionally
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and safety
• Assist in maintaining compliance with company policies and local, state, and federal safety regulations
• Monitor building conditions and report repair needs and cost-effective solutions to leadership
• Coordinate with and support outside contractors as needed
• Assist with purchasing, inventory, and maintenance records as needed
• Support hotel security and life safety programs
• Communicate effectively with management regarding building and equipment conditions
• Follow all company work rules, procedures, and policies

• Shifts:
  • Friday & Saturday: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Sunday & Monday: 3:30 PM – 11:00 PM
• Availability:
  Must be able to work assigned evenings and weekends consistently, including Holidays

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Hotel maintenance experience preferred
• Experience with Hilton, Marriott, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt standards a plus
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
• Basic computer, math, and record-keeping skills
• Strong organization, communication, and time management skills

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials
• Visual and hearing ability to detect safety issues and emergencies
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors as needed
