Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Resident Automation Technician (M/F/D)
Join TGW Logistics as a Resident Automation Technician supporting our customer on all automation-related topics. This role requires a broad-based electrical and mechanical skillset and a proactive approach to improving site performance through troubleshooting and hands‑on repair, while representing the TGW image and maintaining a professional relationship with the client.
Responsibilities- Resolve customer equipment issues as quickly and practically as possible.
- Complete work assignments and the associated work orders as assigned.
- Complete maintenance activities pertaining to the automated equipment onsite, including conveyors, cranes, shuttles, scale checks, and carton‑opening systems.
- Adhere to the highest quality standards while ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.
- Optimize automation efficiency and performance to ensure delivery of contracted KPIs and interface with the customer as needed to support operations.
- Monitor and maintain the site spare parts inventory.
- High school diploma or GED required;
Associate degree or Technical Certificate preferred. - Previous experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment in industrial, warehousing/distribution, or related environments, preferred.
- Thorough attention to detail and demonstrated problem‑solving ability.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service ability.
- Familiarity with Human Machine Interface (HMI) and/or Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) experience preferred.
