Position Overview

The Senior/Associate General Counsel will report to OUH’s CLO, be responsible for assisting the CLO with the transactional and contracting functions of the Organization, and will manage a team. This role will provide comprehensive legal advice and support concerning the drafting and negotiation of OU Health’s contracts, including, IT agreements, leases, professional services agreements, consulting agreements, GPO agreements, and others. The Senior/Associate General Counsel will also advise internal business clients on a multitude of issues arising in the contract negotiation process, including privacy issues and risk management, and will provide guidance to both supply chain and the legal contracting team on required legal terms and language in OU Health’s agreements.

Experience

The successful candidate will have at least 3-10+ years of transactional experience, preferably with experience in the healthcare industry, gained in a law firm and/or in-house legal department. Experience leading a team is preferred.

Location/Relocation

Oklahoma City, OK. This is an onsite role with in-office attendance five days a week. Relocation assistance will be offered.

Compensation

Commensurate with experience.

Bar

Current attorney license and bar affiliation in the State of Oklahoma or the ability to obtain a license to waive into practice in the State within twelve months.
