Position SummaryOklahoma law establishes the Attorney General as the state’s chief law officer and requires the office to issue opinions upon all questions of law requested by the Legislature or either branch thereof, or by any state officer, board, commission or department, or any district attorney
BRE upon matters in which they are officially interested. This office's opinions are binding upon state officials affected by them, and they must follow and not disregard those opinions. This position is integrally involved in Attorney General opinions and includes complex paralegal work. Duties may include analyzing legal documents and correspondence; conducting research assignments; proofreading, editing, and checking citations; and preparing correspondence.
This position also serves as the Coordinator for Open Records requests. Additional duties opdrachten include executive management support and office management duties, such as answering calls, mail distribution, managing correspondence, scheduling calendars, making travel arrangements, ordering office supplies, maintenance requests, and various other duties as assigned.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365, and Adobe Acrobat Pro
