Mack Energy Co. is seeking a skilled IT Coordinator to collaborate with our managed‑service provider in the installation and upkeep of computer systems and networks, with a focus on achieving optimal functionality. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in computer software and hardware, along with proficiency in various internet applications, networks, and operating systems. Additionally, we value candidates with a track record of successful troubleshooting, excellent communication abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain efficient computer systems and networks to enhance the impact of technology on business sustainability.
  • Conduct comprehensive training sessions for end users to ensure proper and secure utilization of IT infrastructure.
  • Serve as the primary contact for all enterprise service tickets, collaborating with various IT service providers to uphold Mack’s technology infrastructure.
  • Coordinate the setup of workstations, including computers and peripheral devices such as routers and printers.
  • Offer onsite support for designated users at the Duncan, Oklahoma location as directed by management.
  • Perform hardware inspections to guarantee functionality, addressing issues promptly.
  • Manage telecommunications billing and invoicing processes.
  • Collaborate with Mack’s managed‑service provider to install and configure software and features as per requirements:
  • Ensure the security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
  • Provide user orientation and guidance on new software and hardware operation.
  • Schedule and execute upgrades and maintenance activities with minimal disruption to workflow.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including parts replacement and debugging.
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance, and schedules.
  • Monitor and manage the helpdesk ticketing system, ensuring timely submission and resolution.
  • Identify equipment shortages and initiate procurement processes.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency as an IT Technician or in a related role.
  • Exceptional diagnostic and problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Consistent punctuality and adherence to deadlines.
  • Willingness and ability to travel at short notice.
  • Exceptional organizational and time‑management abilities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of diverse computer systems and networks.
  • Thorough knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Preferred).
  • Certification as an IT Technician is advantageous (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional).
  • Experience with Active Directory and M365 administration.
