Position: Simulator Technician I-EN

Overview

CAE, one of the largest business aviation training facilities, is looking for a Simulator Technician in our Oklahoma City, OK location. In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance tasks on the simulators and associated simulator systems.

Responsibilities
  • Learn and perform preventive maintenance tasks on simulators and associated simulator systems.
  • Assist in diagnosing and correcting technical issues on simulators and related systems.
  • Record and track maintenance activities using the maintenance management system.
  • Complete all required and assigned training activities.
  • Perform pre‑flight and post‑flight checks on designated simulators.
  • Perform basic visual alignments.
  • Run automatic Qualification Test Guide (QTG).
  • Assist with refurbishment activities and hardware modifications.
  • Learn and comply with CAE’s quality management system.
  • Provide customer service support and respond to customer needs in a timely manner.
  • Perform housekeeping functions to maintain simulator condition.
  • Execute logistics duties including receiving parts, repairs, testing, and validation.
  • Complete administrative tasks as required.
  • Support the technical services group with tasks as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 2‑year technical degree or 4 years of experience in an electronic, avionic, or technical-related field.
  • Minimum of 0–2 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing schedules.
  • Ability to interpret system prints and schematics.
  • Proficiency using test equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, signal generator, logic analyzer, etc.).
  • Knowledge of analog and digital theory.
  • Computer literacy (PC and/or computer mainframe/architecture).
  • Proficiency in soldering and circuit board repair.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and suite.
