Network Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end ownership of the enterprise network and network security environment
• Administration, configuration, and troubleshooting of Cisco Meraki infrastructure via the Meraki Dashboard
• Design, configuration, and support of Cisco ASA firewalls and Any Connect VPN solutions
• Daily administration and advanced troubleshooting of Cisco ISE
  , including 802.1X authentication
  , NAC policies, and switch integration
• Network performance monitoring, alerting, and capacity management using Solar Winds (nodes, alerts, IPAM, logging, live sessions)
• Investigate network security threats, vulnerabilities, and anomalous activity in coordination with an outsourced SIEM/SOC vendor
• Serve as the primary technical contact for firewall, security posture, and threat mitigation with third-party security vendors
• Configure and support Cisco switches and routers via CLI (including 9300, 2960, 3650 or equivalent)
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date network and security architecture documentation using Visio

• Strong, hands-on experience with Cisco ISE (troubleshooting, policy enforcement, 802.1X required)
• Cisco ASA firewall and Any Connect VPN expertise
• Cisco Meraki Dashboard administration (switching, wireless, security appliances)
• Solar Winds network monitoring experience is mandatory
• Solid understanding of network security principles, threat detection, and incident response workflows
• Experience working with SIEM/SOC providers and managing security investigations and tickets

Assignment Type: 6-month contract-to-hire
