As a NOC Performance Monitoring Lead, your work will be impactful to the mission of the US Air Force and GDIT’s BIM customers. You will play a crucial role in helping modernize Air Force Base infrastructure, providing monitoring solutions to reduce network downtime and enhance the customer experience.
Responsibilities- Lead / Manage / Support – Serve as the Performance Monitoring SME to interface with our BIM team and the customer to integrate tools and establish reporting dashboards.
- Collaborate with BIM Engineering, Design, and Site teams to build, integrate, and enhance the BIM monitoring solution.
- Education:
Technical Training, Certification(s), or Degree. - Experience:
5+ years of related experience.
- NOC/SOC operations background – experienced in real operations.
- General Networking concepts (OSI Model, VPN, Topologies, Router functions, etc).
- Incident management expertise with a track record of managing complex, multi‑team responses.
- Scripting abilities for automation and efficiency improvements.
- Define and customize aggregation rules and KPIs/KQIs.
- Domain concepts and knowledge of configuring target services and network components for specific project case: L3 VPN.
- Practical experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Elastic, and others – mandatory.
- Use GUI capabilities to create and customize dashboards and reports.
- Define and update anomaly‑detection and forecasting rules.
DoD Secret Level Clearance required.
Required CertificationsMust meet DoD 8570 or DoD 8140 equivalent requirements and be eligible for IAT Level II access upon hire for positions with elevated privileges. Requirements include possessing and maintaining Security Plus CE. Additional specific certifications may be required depending on job assignment.
RequiredSkills and Abilities
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills applied to the development and presentation of technical materials to a broad spectrum of audiences.
- Adept at interfacing with Government at senior leader levels and representing the interests of GDIT.
- 5
HPE vTeMIP, HPE Service Orchestrator and HPE Intelligent Assurance solutions knowledge. - ITIL V3/4 Foundation or higher.
Oklahoma City, OK (position may start remote and move onsite).
Travel RequiredLess than 10%.
Telecommuting OptionsOnsite.
Salary RangeThe likely salary range for this position is $91,800 - $124,200.
