Manager, Lead Engineer I – Digital Nexus TechnologyWe are seeking an experienced Manager, Lead Engineer I to join our Digital Nexus Technology organization. The role focuses on deploying, managing, and troubleshooting endpoint protection solutions and maintaining core Microsoft security technologies.
Job OverviewAs a key member of the security engineering team, you will ensure the security and reliability of our client and internal infrastructure by implementing robust endpoint protection, managing Microsoft security platforms, and developing actionable security insights.
Responsibilities- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot endpoint protection solutions, including Microsoft Defender and Crowd Strike, across servers, workstations, VDI, and mobile devices.
- Administer and maintain core Microsoft security technologies, including Entra, Intune, and the Microsoft Defender Security Center.
- Develop, document, and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure a strong and compliant security posture.
- Create insightful dashboards, reports, and data visualizations in Power
BI and Databricks to support security analysis and incident response. - Oversee the administration of security platforms such as XSOAR and Wiz Cloud, including SSO configuration, role management, and system maintenance.
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment.
- Minimum five years of recent experience deploying and administering endpoint security solutions within large‑scale enterprise environments.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred; minimum of a high school diploma or GED required.
- Expert‑level, hands‑on experience with both Windows and Red Hat Linux operating systems, including security‑focused system hardening, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Deep practical knowledge of cybersecurity principles, modern threat landscapes, and industry best practices (e.g., NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, ISO 27001).
- Proven ability to manage multiple high‑priority security projects and resolve complex issues in a fast‑paced operational environment.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in task prioritization, delegation, strategic resource planning, and fostering the development of high‑performance teams; excellent communication skills for articulating complex technical concepts to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
